Three or More- Podcast Guest

In this episode, I share my personal journey of healing after childhood abuse and the murder of my sister, revealing how unhealed trauma continued to impact my nervous system, relationships, business, and faith. In this conversation, I explore the connection between Christian faith and nervous system healing, why survival patterns like perfectionism and control develop, and how addressing the root (not just the symptoms) can lead to lasting transformation and freedom in Christ.

Gracefully Rooted Workshop

This was a transformative, faith-based workshop designed to help women release emotional burdens, calm their nervous systems, and reconnect with God in a deeper, more peaceful way.

Inspired by the story of Hannah from 1 Samuel, women were guided through a five-step prayer method that combined Scripture, practical exercises, and nervous system work to help them move from striving to surrender.

They explored how to be honest with God about what they feel, surrender control, trust Him with outcomes, live unafraid of being seen, and return to the woman God created them to be.

They left with inner clarity, emotional release, and a renewed sense of peace that ripples into all areas of life: relationships, decision-making, and daily routines.

This wasn’t just another workshop to listen and take notes. These women feel lighter, clearer, and empowered with tools to continue their journey of faith and emotional wellness long after the experience ended.

It was also an early celebration of Turnaround Wellness's 5th birthday. This celebration wasn’t just about marking a milestone. It was about creating a space where women could pause, reflect, and honor the progress they’ve made in their own journeys. By gathering together, sharing in prayer, and participating in the workshop, each woman was able to experience community, connection, and support. They were reminded that healing and growth aren’t meant to be done alone. This early celebration set the tone for empowerment, release, and transformation that extended far beyond the event itself.

This Week in Pharmacy (TWIRx)- Podcast Guest

In this episode of I open up about: the burnout I faced as a pharmacist, how I transitioned out of retail and chose to take the next step, the moment I met my coach and how that shifted everything, why strategies alone weren’t enough (I learned that I had to heal my nervous system on the inside before the results showed up on the outside), and how God has been faithful to use me in such a beautiful way, even when the path felt scary and uncertain.

If you’ve ever felt stuck, burned out, or unsure of your next step, I pray my story gives you hope that healing and purpose are possible. You can catch my part in the first 18 minutes on AppleSpotify, or YouTube.

Holistic Health with Melissa- Podcast Guest

Back in the spring, I had the honor of being a guest on the Holistic Health with Melissa podcast. In this episode, I shared my story, my faith, and how functional wellness shaped my journey. You can watch or listen my episode, From Tragedy to Transformation on

Spotify, Apple, or YouTube.

P.S. this was recorded before I stepped away from genetic testing, but the heart of the message is the same: hope, healing, and transformation are possible.

Take a listen when you have a moment.

Pharmacogenomics: Personalizing Medications for Our Patients

I and Dr. Susan Smith co-presented Pharmacogenomics: Personalizing Medications for Our Patients, a continuing education session designed to help healthcare professionals understand how genetic differences influence medication response.

This presentation explored how pharmacogenomic testing can guide more effective, individualized treatment decisions, reduce trial-and-error prescribing, and improve patient outcomes—especially in areas like mental health and chronic disease management.

Comfort in Pharmacy- Student Devotion

I recently hosted a special devotion for pharmacy students at the Christian Pharmacists Fellowship International Annual Retreat. The devotion was centered around 2 Corinthians 1:3–4 and Isaiah 40:1.

We explored how God comforts us in our struggles so we can extend that same comfort to others.

Through honest conversations, Scripture, and reflection, students were encouraged to see their future careers not just as a job, but as a calling to bring peace, hope, and compassion to those they serve.

Hearing personal stories of faith and perseverance reminded us all that God meets us in our weakest moments—and uses them for His glory.

Thank you to Epworth-by-the-Sea for hosting this year's retreat.

“This devotion challenged me to be more intentional when I interact with patients. I want them to feel the comfort of Jesus through me.” -Tatum

Breaking Free from Negative Assumptions: How to Change Your Thoughts and Grow Your Business

Learn more about the Successful Business Women here.

At the Successful Business Women's monthly gathering in April, I had the honor of speaking on the powerful connection between mindset, health, and healing.

We explored how limiting beliefs, negative thoughts, and self-sabotage can hold us back—not just in business, but in our wellness journey too.

Through reflection, real-life examples, and encouragement, attendees were challenged to break free from perfectionism and step into wholeness with grace. It was a beautiful time of learning, connection, and community.

Breaking Barriers to Sustainable Health Goals

Take a peek inside our inspiring workshop where women came together to learn, connect, and take charge of their health and wellness goals!

From eye-opening insights into genetic testing to practical strategies for overcoming barriers, the energy in the room was empowering and uplifting.

These moments captured the heart of the event—women supporting women, discovering tools for sustainable change, and taking the first steps toward a brighter, healthier future.

Thank you, Krissy, owner of Neighborhood Barre in Fuquay-Varina for letting me use your studio for this workshop!

“This was an excellent workshop and was extremely helpful in addressing my goals and challenges. The most valuable thing I learned was how to breakdown my goals to make them more realistic and achievable.” -Stephanie T.

Keta dived into the fascinating world of drug-nutrient depletions and shared insights on which foods are best to eat based on your medications. The four drugs that she talked about were statins (medications used to decrease high cholesterol), metformin (used to treat type 2 diabetes), proton pump inhibitors (used to treat heartburn/acid reflux), and hormonal contraceptives (used to prevent pregnancy).
